The Renaissance:
The era of the Renaissance followed right after the Dark Ages in Europe and this time period was when Innovation, Secularism, and, ideas began to flourish; it was a time of focusing on human beauty and living happily for the moment and instead worry later about religion when it came to it.This new idea and way of living caused for Secularism which made the church lose power and greater concentration on how to improve life. For example Copernicus's theory about the solar system was a Scientific Revolution that were created during the Renaissance. His theory ,the Heliocentric Theory, was that instead of the sun and planets revolving around the Earth, The Earth instead revolved around the sun in the solar system with the other planets. Also the era of "rebirth" was the era in which the worlds first greatest artist and composers were born; such as: Michelangelo who was a painter, poet, architect, and sculptor, Leonardo Da Vinci who was a inventor, writer, mathematician, and an Artist. Also, who could forget the one and only William Shakespeare: poet and play writer. The Renaissance was an era of a fresh and new start that allowed for people to focus on how to be happy and live life in the way that makes their life productive and not miserable. This caused for people to stop visiting church and focus primarily on what they themselves wanted to do.
