China's Golden Age:In China, during the middle ages, The Tang and Song Dynasties unified China after the fall of the Han dynasty, and it was during the Tong and Song Dynasties that China actually economically flourished because of the trading that occurred on the Silk Road. The silk road allowed for Chinese culture, goods, and traditions spread through out the land. Because of the trade China went through a major economic Boom.

The Middle East:
Islam grew after the death of Muhammad because after his death, Muslim armies began to gain territory in the Middle East to unite them under one Caliph. And under that caliph , scientist, philosophers, and poets emerge. this then lead to thousands of books being written which made people improve on literary skills and intellectual skills.
Africa:Western Africa flourished as more people went to Africa for gold and traded it for salt. The reason why Europeans needed salt was because they needed to learn how to preserve food.
